On first launch there are only three things to do: bring in bookmarks and passwords from your old browser, sign in to enable sync, and make Sogou your default. After that you have moved.
Step 1: import your data
First launch detects other installed browsers and offers to import. You can skip it and use "import data" in settings later.

Step 2: sign in to sync
Click the avatar in the top right and sign in; once sync is on, bookmarks, passwords and settings stay consistent across devices.
- First sync starts automatically after sign-in

- Multiple devices can stay signed in
- Sign out and clear local data at any time
Step 3: set as default
In system settings open default apps (Windows) or default web browser (macOS) and choose Sogou Browser, so links from now on open in it.

- The browser also offers a one-click jump
FAQ
Does importing affect my old browser?
No. Importing reads and copies; it never modifies or deletes data in the original browser.
Can I use it without signing in?
Yes. Browsing, downloads and extensions all work locally; only cross-device bookmark sync is unavailable.
